REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Remove:
- the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting),
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Refitting) (MR 392, 80A, Battery).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED
- Remove the pre-postheating unit mounting bolt (8).
- Disconnect the pre-postheating unit connector (9).
- Remove the pre-postheating unit.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED
- Connect the pre-postheating unit connector.
- Refit the pre-postheating unit.
- Tighten to torque the pre-postheating unit mounting nut (9 Nm).
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting)

REMOVAL

Remove the air filter box inlet air pipe (1).
Remove the turbocharger outlet air pipe retaining pins (2).
Remove:
the turbochar
Exhaust gas recirculation: List and location of components

K9K, and 764 or 766 or 768 or 772
First fitting of the exhaust gas cooler recirculation
assembly
(1) Exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve
(2) Exhaust gas cooler
(3) Exhaust gas inlet pipe

REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
Remove the complete rear bench seat.
Remove:
the front seat belt support bolt (1).
the front seat belt support.
Unclip:
the rear section of the front door sill lining (3),
the rear wing panel trim at (4).
II - OPERATION
Rear parcel shelf side trim: Removal - Refitting

Remove the rear wing panel trim (see 71A, Body internal

Unclip the rear inner sill upper trim (see 71A, Body
internal trim, Rear inner sill upper trim: Removal
- Refitting, 71A-24).
