Renault Clio: Clutch position sensor: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle: Towing and lifting) (MR 392, 02A, Lifting equipment).
• Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting) (MR 392, 80A, Battery).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Remove the engine undertray.
• Disconnect the clutch position sensor connector.
• Remove:
  • the bolts (1) from the clutch position sensor,
  • the clutch position sensor (2).

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit:
  • the clutch position sensor,
  • the clutch position sensor bolts.
• Connect the clutch position sensor connector.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit the engine undertray.
• Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting) (MR 392, 80A, Battery).
• Carry out the necessary programming (see Fault finding - Replacement of components (MR 394, 21B, Sequential gearbox).

REFITTING

• Refit:
  • the clutch position sensor,
  • the clutch position sensor bolts.
• Connect the clutch position sensor connector.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit the engine undertray.
• Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting) (MR 392, 80A, Battery).
• Carry out the necessary programming (see Fault finding - Replacement of components (MR 394, 21B, Sequential gearbox).
