Renault Clio: Control panel: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Remove the centre console (see Centre console:
Removal - Refitting) (MR 393, 57A, Interior equipment).

- Unclip the trim at (1) and (2) at the base of the dashboard.
RADIO NO. 01 or RADIO NO. 02 or RADIO NO.03
or RADIO NO. 04 or RADIO NO. 05 or RADIO NO.

- Remove the radio (see Radio: Removal - Refitting)
(MR 392, 86A, Radio).
NAVIGATION AID 1
- Remove the radio navigation system (see Radio
navigation: Removal - Refitting) (MR 392, 83C,
On-board telematics system).
WITHOUT NAVIGATION AID, and VEHICLE WITHOUT
RADIO
- Unclip the glovebox using the (Car. 1363).

- Unclip the centre trim piece beginning with the upper
section.
- Disconnect the connectors.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED

- Remove the mounting bolts (3) from the air conditioning
control panel.
- Move the air conditioning control panel to one side.
CLIMATE CONTROL
- Disconnect the air conditioning control panel connectors.
AIR CONDITIONING or STANDARD HEATING

- Disconnect the connector (4) from the air conditioning
control panel.

- Remove the control panel control cables.
- Disconnect at (5).
- Pull back lug (6).
- Extract the ball joint (7).
- Remove the air conditioning control panel.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
AIR CONDITIONING or STANDARD HEATING

- Refit the control panel control cables.
- Insert the ball joint at (8).
- Clip the sleeve stop at (9).

- Connect the air conditioning control panel connector (10).
CLIMATE CONTROL
- Connect the air conditioning control panel connectors.
- Refit the air conditioning control panel.

- Refit the air conditioning control panel bolts (11).
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Connect the connectors.
- Clip on the centre trim starting at the top.
RADIO NO. 01 or RADIO NO. 02 or RADIO NO. 03
or RADIO NO. 04 or RADIO NO. 05 or RADIO NO.

- Refit the radio (see Radio: Removal - Refitting)
(MR 392, 86A, Radio).
NAVIGATION AID 1
- Refit the radio navigation system (see Radio navigation:
Removal - Refitting) (MR 392, 83C, On-board
telematics system).
WITHOUT NAVIGATION AID, and VEHICLE WITHOUT
RADIO
- Clip the glovebox in position.
- Clip on the dashboard lower trim.
- Refit the centre console (see Centre console: Removal
- Refitting) (MR 393, 57A, Interior equipment).

Operating principle
After the vehicle is started, the system
automatically locks the doors when
you are driving at approximately 6 mph
(10 km/h) and over.

by pressing the door unlocking
button 1.
