REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (MR 392, 02A, Lifting equipment).
- Remove:
- the front right-hand wheel (see Wheel: Removal -
Refitting) (MR 392, 35A, Wheels and tyres),
- the front right-hand wheel arch liner (see Front
wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting) (MR 393,
55A, Exterior protection),
- the accessories belt (see 11A, Top and front of
engine, Accessories belt: Removal - Refitting, 11A-5).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED

- Remove:
- the flywheel cover mounting bolt (1),
- the flywheel cover.

- Fit the immobilising tool (Mot. 582-01) (2).
- Remove:
- the accessories pulley mounting bolt,
- the accessories pulley.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
WARNING
You must replace the crankshaft accessories pulley
mounting bolt.
- Clean the crankshaft accessories pulley grooves
with a wire brush to ensure there are no deposits.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Refit the crankshaft accessories pulley using a new
bolt.
- Torque tighten the crankshaft accessories pulley
mounting bolt (40 N.m + 70

Brake discs cannot be reground. If there is excessive
scoring or wear, they will need to be replaced (see
30A, General information, Brake: Specifications, 30A-9).
When replacing a brake disc, be sure to replace the
disc on the opposite side.

Partially remove seal (1).
Remove the side panel (2).
Remove the bolt (3) from the base of the dashboard.
Unclip the trim piece (4) from the driver's side dashboard
lower cover.
