1/3 and 2/3 rear bench seat base trim: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Lift up the rear bench seat base.

• Remove the rear bench seat base at (1).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Unclip the retaining strips (2).
• Remove the seat trim and foam.

• Cut the retaining clips (3).
• Extract the seat base trim.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Clip the seat base trim to the foam.

• Clip the retaining strips back onto the seat base frame.

II - FINAL OPERATION

• Refit the rear bench seat base.

1/3 and 2/3 rear bench seatback trim: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove the complete rear bench seat.

• Remove:
  • the nut (1),
  • the flexible stalk support.

• Remove nuts (2).
• Separate the bench seat seatbacks.

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Remove the nut (3) and take out the central retaining bracket (according the side removed).
• Open the zip fasteners (4).
• Move the seatback frame aside.

• Unclip the head rest (5) guides.

• Unclip the unlocking mechanism (6),
• Remove the seatback trim and foam.

• Cut the seatback trim retaining clips.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING STAGE OF PART IN QUESTION

• Clip the seatback trim onto the foam.

• Check that the trim is correctly positioned on the foam.
• Fit the " foam-trim " assembly to the seatback frame.
• Clip on:
  • the unlocking system,
  • the unlocking mechanism.
• Carry out a function test.
• Refit the head rest guides.

• Close the zip fasteners (7).
• Refit the central retaining bracket (8) (according to the side removed).
• Tighten to torque the central retaining bracket nut (21 Nm) (9).

II - FINAL OPERATION

• Assemble the bench seat seatbacks.
• Tighten to torque the bench seat mounting nuts on the central bracket (21 Nm) (10).

• Refit the flexible stalk support.
• Tighten to torque the flexible stalk support mounting nut (8 Nm).
• Refit the complete rear bench seat.

Single unit rear bench seatback trim: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove:
  • the single unit rear bench seat base (see 76A, Rear seat frames and mechanisms, Single unit rear bench seat base: Removal - Refitting, 76A-6),
  • the single unit rear bench seatback (see 76A, Rear seat frames and mechanisms, Single unit rear bench seatback: Removal - Refitting, 76A- 1).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Open the zip fasteners (1).
• Fold down the rear section of the seatback.

• Unclip the head rest guides (2).

• Move the foam away from the seatback frame.
• Unclip the clips (3).
• Remove the seatback unlocking control (4).
• Separate the seatback trim from the seatback frame.

• Cut the foam cover clips.
• Separate the cover from the seatback foam.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Clip the seatback cover onto the foam.
• Fit the cover and foam cushion pad assembly back onto the seatback frame.
• Clip:
  • the unlocking mechanism,
  • the head rest guides.

• Close the zip fasteners (5).

II - FINAL OPERATION

• Refit:
  • the single unit rear bench seatback (see 76A, Rear seat frames and mechanisms, Single unit rear bench seatback: Removal - Refitting, 76A- 1).
  • the single unit rear bench seat base (see 76A, Rear seat frames and mechanisms, Single unit rear bench seat base: Removal - Refitting, 76A-6),

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove the rear bench seat base (see 76A, Rear seat frames and mechanisms, Single unit rear bench seat base: Removal - Refitting, 76A- 6).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Unclip the cover retaining strips (1).

• Cut the foam cover clips.
• Separate the cover from the seat base foam.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Clip the seat base cover to the foam.
• Fit the cover and foam cushion pad back onto the seat base frame.

• Clip the retaining strips (2).

II - FINAL OPERATION

• Refit the rear bench seat base (see 76A, Rear seat frames and mechanisms, Single unit rear bench seat base: Removal - Refitting, 76A-6).
