REMOVAL
OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED
- Open the luggage compartment.
- Remove the bolts from the rear wing light (1).
- Remove the rear wing light.
- Disconnect the connector from the rear light on the wing.
- Remove the rear light.
- If replacing the rear light, remove the bulbs (see 81A, Rear lighting, Rear light bulb: Removal - Refitting, 81A-7).
REFITTING
REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED
- If replacing the rear light, refit the bulbs (see 81A, Rear lighting, Rear light bulb: Removal - Refitting, 81A-7).
- Connect the connector for the rear light on the wing.
- Position the rear light on the wing using the centring devices (2).
- Refit the bolts for the rear light on the wing.
- Close the luggage compartment.

REMOVAL

- Open the luggage compartment.
- Remove the bolts from the rear wing light (1).
- Remove the rear wing light.
- Disconnect the connector from the rear light on the wing.
- Remove the rear light.
- If replacing the rear light, remove the bulbs (see 81A, Rear lighting, Rear light bulb: Removal - Refitting, 81A-7).
REFITTING
REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED
- If replacing the rear light, refit the bulbs (see 81A, Rear lighting, Rear light bulb: Removal - Refitting, 81A-7).
- Connect the connector for the rear light on the wing.
- Position the rear light on the wing using the centring devices (2).
- Refit the bolts for the rear light on the wing.
- Close the luggage compartment.

Remove the blanking covers (1).
Insert a screwdriver in the openings to move the clips (2).
Apply pressure to the clips (2)
High level brake light bulb: Removal - Refitting

the tailgate spoiler (see Tailgate spoiler: Removal - Refitting),
the high level brake light (see 81A, Rear lighting,
3rd brake light: Rem

REMOVAL

Lock the airbag computer using the Diagnostic tool
(see Fault finding - Replacement of components)
(MR 394, 88C, Airbags and pretensioners).
Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting)
(MR 392, 80A, Battery).
Remove the centre console (
Recirculation control cable: Removal - Refitting
LEFT-HAND DRIVE, and AIR CONDITIONING or STANDARD HEATING
REMOVAL

Partially remove seal (1).
Remove the side panel (2).
Remove the bolt (3) from the base of the dashboard.
Unclip the trim piece (4) from the driver's side dashboard
lower cover.
