Renault Clio: Heating resistor relays: Removal - Refitting
LEFT-HAND DRIVE
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

- Partially remove seal (1).

- Remove the side panel (2).

- Remove the bolt (3) from the base of the dashboard.
- Unclip the trim piece (4) from the driver's side dashboard
lower cover.

- Remove the bolts (5) from the driver's side dashboard
lower cover.
- Take out the driver's side dashboard lower cover (6).
- Disconnect the connectors from the driver's side
dashboard lower cover (depending on the equipment
level).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED

- Remove:
- the heating resistor relay box cover (7),
- the heater resistor relays.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED

- Refit:
- heater resistor relays,
- the heating resistor relay box cover (8).
II - FINAL OPERATION
- Connect the connectors to the driver's side dashboard
lower cover.
- Position the driver's side dashboard lower cover.
- Refit:
- the bolts from the driver's side dashboard lower
cover,
- the bolts to the base of the dashboard.
- Clip the trim piece onto the driver's side dashboard
lower cover.
- Refit:
- the side panel,
- the seal.
RIGHT-HAND DRIVE
REMOVAL

- Remove the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal -
Refitting) (MR 393, 57A, Interior equipment).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED

- Unclip the heater resistor relay box from the dashboard
cross member
- Remove:
- the heating resistor relay box cover (1),
- the heater resistor relays.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED

- Refit:
- heater resistor relays,
- the heating resistor relay box cover (2).
- Clip the heater resistor relay box on the dashboard
cross member
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting)
(MR 393, 57A, Interior equipment).

There is no "RENAULT" tool to check the braking assistance
circuit.
Use a vacuum pump fitted with couplings, part numbers
7701349942 and 7700105874 with hose part
number 8200027352 or 8200376245.
CHECK
I - CHECKING THE SEALS
When checking the brake servo seal, ensure that there
DISC BRAKE
Brake discs cannot be reground. If there is excessive
scoring or wear, they will need to be replaced (see
30A, General information, Brake: Specifications, 30A-9).
When replacing a brake disc, be sure to replace the
disc on the opposite side.
Be sure to replace the brake pads if the bra
