REMOVAL
REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Remove:
- the complete rear bench seat,
- the rear wing panel lining (see 71A, Body internal trim, Rear panel lining: Removal - Refitting, 71A-32).
- Remove:
- the bolt (1),
- the seat belt.
- Unclip the height adjustment device (2).
- Remove the covers (3).
- Unclip the trim at (4).
- Remove the B-pillar upper trim.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED
- Refit the B-pillar upper trim.
- Refit the covers (5).
II - FINAL OPERATION
- Refit the height adjustment device (6).
- Refit the seat belt.
- Tighten to torque the seat belt mounting bolt (21 Nm). (7)
- Refit:
- the rear wing panel lining (see 71A, Body internal trim, Rear panel lining: Removal - Refitting, 71A-32),
- the complete rear bench seat.

Move the seats fully forward.
Partially remove the frame seals (1).
Partially unclip the front and rear door sill trims.

Rear inner sill upper trim: Removal - Refitting

Partially remove seal (1).

Remove the trim at (2) and at (3).

the rear roof drip moulding lini

IMPORTANT
Before carrying out any work on a safety or proximity
system component, lock the airbag computer
using the Diagnostic tool. When this function is
activated all the ignition lines are disabled and the
airbag warning light on the instrument pan
Rear drum bearing: Removal - Refitting
Using a dial gauge connected to the drum, check that
the end float is greater than 0.03 mm.
REMOVAL

Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle: Towing and
lifting).
Remove:
the rear wheels (see 35A, Wheels and tyres,
Wheel: Removal - Refitting, 35
