CODING OF THE ELECTRIC STEERING COLUMN LOCK.

Note: The electric lock is supplied without a code. The engine immobiliser code must be programmed when it is fitted to allow the ignition to be switched on.

WARNING

The injection computer retains the immobiliser code for life.

The system has no security code.

It is forbidden to perform tests with computers borrowed from the Parts Department or from another vehicle which must then be returned.

These computers are permanently coded.

Note: The electric steering column lock locks the steering column after a few seconds; coding is then complete. The red immobiliser warning light flashes to indicate that the engine immobiliser function is active.
