REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Remove:
- the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting),
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Refitting)
(MR 392, 80A, Battery).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED

- Remove the pre-postheating unit mounting bolt (8).

- Disconnect the pre-postheating unit connector (9).
- Remove the pre-postheating unit.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Connect the pre-postheating unit connector.
- Refit the pre-postheating unit.
- Tighten to torque the pre-postheating unit mounting
nut (9 Nm).
II - FINAL OPERATION.
- Refit the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting)

Remove the turbocharger outlet air pipe retaining pins (2).
Remove:

(2) Exhaust gas cooler
(3) Exhaust gas inlet pipe
