REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

Remove:
- the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting),
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Refitting) (MR 392, 80A, Battery).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

Renault Clio. Pre-postheating unit: Removal - Refitting

Remove the pre-postheating unit mounting bolt (8).

Disconnect the pre-postheating unit connector (9).
Remove the pre-postheating unit.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

Connect the pre-postheating unit connector.
Refit the pre-postheating unit.
Tighten to torque the pre-postheating unit mounting nut (9 Nm).

II - FINAL OPERATION.

Refit the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting)

Crankshaft position sensor: Removal - Refitting

D4F, and 740 or 742 or 764 REMOVAL I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting). Remove the air filter unit (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Air filter unit: Removal - Refitting, 12A-17). Move the cooling hose away from the engine wiring harness bracket.
